The game is super neat. I love how its main feature is based on an already well known game, Chess! Adding spice into something old makes it feel very refreshing to play. Had not much difficulty when it come to controls or mechanics and was overall a very pleasant experience. Made it to floor 18 where i got trapped by 2 queens 3 knights and 2 bishop. Can't wait to see the full release and perhaps have more content added past my current high score.
I would like it if you could hover over the cards you have chosen to see what they were, as I sometimes forget which cards I chose. Other than that, amazing game!

Its a Fun and Novel idea,i don't know if it would work,but eventually being able to get one or 2 pieces on the board would make for an interesting addition,while still being too little to make a big difference

No, I just would like a version to leave mid run, but don't want it to abuse things via any form of save scumming.

You can do that in-game. It only shows up once the pawns are done spawning.
