It feels very unfair, like youâre not supposed to be able to finish the game. However the game is very polished, played 30~45 min straight I couldnât let without winning the game.
Unfortunately my very first game was the best and all subsequent plays were worse and worse. How frustrating!
I've managed to go to floor 16 : After the floor 11, there's no more card for you and the enemies but instead get a random piece added in the white side.
Possible bug: Please check whether strafe target resets when starting new game. I think I made a shot during the very 1st move of a new game even though I did not have strafe yet.
Hey! I wasn't expecting this game to be so hard, but I think that's part of why it's so fun! Played this for a while and never got that far, but with more practice I think I can make it!
The game's generally pretty good at telling you if your next move is gonna get you killed, although it doesn't warn you if that Pawn that you're about to blow apart is currently blocking a Bishop that is camping out in the corner. I mean, if I was more observant it wouldn't happen, but it'd be nice if the shields warned you about those potential deaths too.
Can't wait to see what direction you take this project in the future!
Looking at the video on Twitter, I expected something silly and light; but the gameplay is really interesting and has depth to it. A delight, with a surprising amount of polish for a jam game.

nice game
I love this game, especially as a chess fan, so well made, and the art too. "Chess 2 just dropped"
For a game made in under 72 hours, this is insanely well done. Hard as nails, but incredibly addicting.
I love this game, but I hate this game!

really nice!
How many rounds the game have ?
EDIT : Ok it's an endless game.
Given the amount of card slots at the side, I'm gonna guess 11

Bon petit jeu bien inspirĂ©. C'est fou d'ĂȘtre capable de faire ça en si peu de temps. Bravo !
Great idea, well implemented. More challenging than I expected!
Awesome. Please add ver for Android

The game is really well-balanced. Wow.
All buffs/debuffs are interesting.
I loved the naming jokes.

Please add version for macOS. Thanks a lot.
Brilliant

I saw this game on Twitter by chance and wow! it's so simple, but still so fun, hard and addictive! I'm looking forward to how this game evolves.
My only complain is that you have to go through the story text every time you play (if you could make it skip with just one click, it would be OK).
Look into the game's settings, you can disable the intro! :)
Wow, thanks for answering! I will check it out
