I love this so far. I meant to play for a bit to test it out and five hours later I was still playing. I look forward to any changes you have planned. Save points would be helpful as well as a way to pause the game. :)  Excellent work!

Charming but gets tiring after a while.

It was tough to find the diamond. I'm still not sure where the little fellow came from. :) Seems like iron and gold are difficult to find too, but especially difficult is the flint/pick needed to mine them. Late game felt like I always had a surplus of stone since I was fishing for the pick. Couldn't finish it in the time I had, but I got a bright glowing altar, so I guess I might have been close...

Cool chill game, and kind of awesome how many little critters can be running around at once. Looking forward to a full game one day!

Also, clicking and holding can be tiring on the mouse hand... Maybe consider some other way to do click and hold as well? Or perhaps an upgrade for it after the game gets going, just to save the amount of time doing it. ;)

To mine a diamond you need the critter with a helmet, it's supposed to appear after you upgrade the fire with three iron, a flame critter, and a plain critter. Mine didn't show up the first time I made that upgrade, I had to upgrade a second fire to get it.

Very cute game :) I might have run into a bug. I collected 3 coal, but when I went to use them, only one guy ever came. And I looked around and couldn't find the other 2 anywher

I'll respond because i kept having a Missing Guys problem and figured it out: the sprites sometimes walk into your cursor as you're gathering resources, going about your business, which obviously means summoning a crowd to that exact spot. Very quickly that turns into trashing what the single sprite has. It takes only a couple seconds to trash an item, which often isn't long enough for me to notice AND save the item before it's gone.

It doesn't matter where you're clicking; as long as you're holding it, whatever is under your cursor is activating.

Oh no, I didnt know you could trash things at all, I probably trashed 100 wood but never kept track of those. Thanks for letting me know.

of course! ☺️

Looks really cool! Hope you'll consider publishing web versions of your games
